BUFFALO, N.Y. – April 19, 2012 – Summer Street Capital Partners today confirmed the death of Operating Partner Michael J. Serventi at age 61 on Wednesday, April 18, in a bicycle accident near his home in Vero Beach, Fla.


“Mike’s warm heart and wry sense of humor made him a joy to work with,” said Summer Street Managing Partner Brian D’Amico.  “His unwavering character and integrity, rigorous work ethic, and incredible business acumen made him an invaluable advisor and mentor.  The loss to his family, his friends, and to the many businesses and communities he served is tremendous.  At 61, Mike leaves us far too soon.  He will be greatly missed by anyone that had the privilege and the pleasure of knowing him.”
